Splasher

Eleventh year

One field, four stages, and the same six people running it

Capacity four thousand, which is as big as this field should ever get.

Colour powder over a daytime crowd

About the festival

Splasher has run in the same field since 2015, apart from 2020 and 2021. Capacity is four thousand and we have turned down every offer to grow it, because the field cannot take more people and still be the thing people come for.

There has never been a booking fee. The number on the ticket is what leaves your account, camping is included, and under-twelves have been free since the first year. We would rather charge an honest price once than a low price four times.

We publish a write-up after every festival, including 2023 when the water supply failed on the Saturday and about six hundred people had a bad day. What we did about it is in that piece.

The price on the ticket is the price. After a decade of festivals, that alone keeps me coming.
Under twelves free and the family field is far enough away to sleep.
The access page gave distances in metres and was right about all of it.
It is a field. In the wet it is a muddy field. They do say so.
